Im doing the crown vic front end and explorer rear end swap. Disc brakes all around. What master cylinder and proportion valve setup do i need to get? I have the 79 f100 proporton valve and master cylinder.
This brake valve is a reproduction of the Weatherhead valve that was produced for GM vehicles but, it's very similar to the stock Weatherhead valve that was also produced for Fords.
I have a 1-1/16" bore MC for a 1995 Ford Explorer on my '69 F100 (currently with '77 F100 front discs and stock '69 F100 rear drums. --I have an '81 F150 9-inch rear end with the 'Torino' style large axle bearing housing flanges that will eventually allow me to bolt on '95-'01 Explorer rear discs to the '81 9-inch rear end housing).
'95 Explorer MC on a '75 F350 dual diaphragm brake booster.
Ultraranger thank you. I wasn't sure if it was a complicated or simple fix. Glad its a simple one. I will order a new master cylinder and proportion valve for dual disc.
