Remote start issue
I have a 2007 f150 and the remote start is broken. Wonder if I could get some advice? It started about 10 months ago and I've been trying to fix it since. It started doing the classic symptoms where it would beep everything come on except the engine. And the horn would beep a few times after that. Can't remember how many times it beeped. Now about 4 months ago it just stopped working all together. i have the single button remote starter fob and when I hold it down to start the engine the fob light, lights up like it suppose to. The truck, well the truck just sits there. No beep no dash lights come on nothing. It's like a remote starter transponder is not even installed. I was thinking the transponder might have progressively gone bad but wanted to see what you guys think. I have tried all the trouble shooting, reprogramming stuff and got nothing. I was about to go through all the programming procedures but it had no effect on it. Does anyone think I might need to replace the transponder? Thanks.
