engine half ripped apart, need help
I just got finished changing plugs and wires. I had a code 41 and 42. Replaced oxygen sensor, pcv valve and new coolant temperature sensor. Cleaned throttle body, throttle air bypass valve, mass airflow. Changed air filter. Mass airflow appears to be fine. Two tiny wires still attatched properly. No vacuum leaks, so the garage says. I need to check fuel pressure regulator, but don't know where it is or how to check to see if there is fuel in the vacuum line. How do you take the fuel and vacuum line off without breaking them? Do you need any special tools? Is there anything else I should do before I put everything back together? The reason I did this is because the van was blowing lots of black smoke, burning lots of gas, surging really bad and smells like gas while you're driving. Any other ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
