fuse box location??

Don't laugh or think i'm dumb but the owners manual for my 2008 f-150(page 301)shows a picture of the fuse box cover with a tab under it that say's pull, & is located on the right of the instrument panel,ok, looked everywhere for the tab that say's pull on it & nothing,i looked at both lower panel walls, opened glove box & pushed in the sides to pull it all the way down, nothing, just the fan resistors are there. It's there somewhere, i just don't want to start pulling panels apart to find it(my luck i'll break the tabs holding the panels because there cheap). I'm perplexed & need your help. Thanks john

Yep, passenger side kick panel...pull it out and the fuse box is behind there.

There are tabs on the passenger side kick panel that fit under the plastic door sill that are easy to break. In fact, pretty much all the tabs that hold that panel in place are easy to break, so remove carefully.

The biggest problem I see here is not saying what the OP's actual problem is, but more of them asking a question to help figure it out. The OP does in a vague way.

As some have said above, if it is an issue where the radio, window switches, interior lights, accessories etc. cut out while the truck is running/driving it is the power delay relay located on the back of gauge cluster.

The solder cracks on the board and gives intermittent use to those functions. Had this happen on the '03 about a month ago, pulled the gauge cluster and added a bit of solder and no problems since. Actually seems to be a rather common problem for the years that gauge cluster was used. Had the same problem/fix in a '98 Expedition many years ago that also used that gauge cluster.
