Just installed the RiffRaff HPx line in my truck, after work today. Injector clatter quieted down, and idle smoothed out noticeably. It was an immediate change. Smooth acceleration all the way, no hesitation or glitches. Sweet ! Fairly straightforward installation, very high quality stainless steel line, large diameter too. I couldn't be happier with the result. Recommend this to everyone.
I loved the one on my excursion so much I but one on my OBS as well. Really glad I did, and even AE confirms what my ears heard that it smoothes everything out.
Ditto. I was impressed by the graph I saw on the RiffRaff YouTube video. The ICP spikes go away, and the idle smoothed out noticeably. ICP is almost constant at idle, and that is a measurable improvement. Wonder why IH didn't install these at the factory !
Same here, love it. Also installed the FRX the same day, and the difference was felt in the throttle response, and much quieter. Great products from Clay.
You know, I won one of those at RRE 1 way back when and it is sitting in my toolbox, I never did install it....I should "give it a go" considering how many times I have had the valve covers off, the turbo off, etc....
I have to find the fittings. When I won it, he had forgotten the fittings and shipped them to me later. Then I had the fittings in the house and the HPx itself in my toolbox at the shop where I do most of my work on my truck. It became one of those out of sight, out of mind things after the fact.

HK...find those fittings and get it on there!!! It's a super-easy install and shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes from the time you walk into the garage to the time your last tool is put away. Very straight forward.
Only suggestion is to have a big cushion to lay on top of...unless you're lucky enough to own a topside creeper.
I have my Hpx sitting as one of my parts to install. I will have to add that to my list of work to do.
Just finished my gauges and need to add my Chip first. Hpx will have to get in line.

Not to be a contrarian here...but seriously, put that HPX on first. It's 15 minutes (or 30 with tool selection, clean up, etc.). AND, you will see firsthand what this mod does without the chip. It will be more noticeable. THEN put your chip in.
OH, and if not already mentioned, it takes about 50 miles of driving for it to completely smooth out and for you to see the full benefit.
Also a satisfied customer! Best $50 spent on my truck! I took a before and after decibel reading and my truck was about 5db quieter! It's is a noticeable difference.
