What do ya'll think is the biggest size tire I can put in my explorer sport 2001, that will not require a lift....I have plenty of space right now between the top of the tire and the flare...about 3-5 inches.
Tires: P235/75R15SL
currently spinnin' Michelins M/S LTX
That is one of the most asked question and the least answered ...man, it has to do with everything from what you drive on to the true size of the tires...there are WAYYYYY too many factors for me or anyone else to tell you exactly what you can/should do.
search around and look for what other ppl have done...learn from their mistakes and experiment!
P235/75R15SL would equal roughly about 29" tall, I would say with the info given you might could fit a set of 31" BFG/AT's....the stock tire that came on my 93 f-150 was P235/75R15SL and I crammed 31" Futuras(Pep Boys brand) under there with a lil room to spare. But after the 6" skyjacker suspension lift I put 36" Swampers with quite a bit of room to spare and it looked good!
