Replacing Front Diff
So I've searched the forums before posting but couldn't find the answer I was looking for. Long story short. My front diff went bad on my 01 Expedition and I'm just buying a whole new (used) front diff because its a hell of a lot cheaper than rebuilding it. My question is can I just unbolt the half shafts from the housing and slide it out or do I have to completely remove the half shafts? hopefully I can make this a quick and dirty job. Thanks in advance.
