Mine's "Browncoat" using the "AT" from the Appalachian Trail logo on the end I'm a HUGE Firefly fan (A Browncoat if you will) so that is the reason for mine
Well I had this one on my old car, but I don't think it fits with the Excursion too well (also the source of my user name if anybody was curious)

Here is the correct one they should have been using.
Is it the Anchors?
I have been thinking of getting the USCG plate as well.
There are all sorts of little things wrong with the anchor shield they are currently using. Most people would not notice, but it irked me the moment I saw it. It is cool that they are working at updating the logo.
I had this one on my Expedition also, best story I had about the two of them was when I had family in town and they were borrowing the Expedition. We were both headed out of town past road construction. I headed out eariler in the Excursion, they were about an hour behind. When I had to stop at the construction zone the lade flagging started laughing and came up to tell me how awesome my plate was. we talked for a minute and I was on my way. Once we met up at our destination the family borrowing the Expedition with 11 MPG on the plate said when they pulled up she started laughing like crazy and ran up to the window to tell them about this red truck that came through earlier with a 8 MPG plate, boy was she shocked when they told her "Yeah, this is his truck also" haha made for a funny story.
Here is mine. I wanted another N. I asked it the would tell me the name of the person that has GUNNAR, They wouldn't tell me. I was willing to offer up some cash to get my hands on it. So GUNAR is what I had to go with.
By the way it is my grandfathers name. My little tribute to him.

Based on the distortion of the 4Runner and fence in the picture, I'm sure the 'fat guy' is actually the epitome of fitness and is in reality quite a svelte gentleman.
Nope, I'm fat, well chubby at least but getting thinner, lost 35lbs in the past year.
Years ago spotted an Excursion and thought to myself that's a good plate number, PSD X. 2 years ago when registering the 02 it was available so picked it up.
The F250 plate is DOUGGER and the F350 plate is DOUGER. 16-17 years ago got DOUGGER only after seeing another Super Duty with DOUGER. In 07 DOUGER was available.
Best plate I've ever seen on a vehicle? Easy NOBAMA. Turns out a friend of a friend has the plate and it's been on a couple different vehicles. From a black avalanche to a white Super Duty.
Used to have a 1986 Dodge Omni GLHS that plate read 86 GLHS.
Thanks, Mouse! Hey you're back! I just sent ya a PM...
Yeah, they're the greatest! They love kids, our cats, pretty much get along with everybody and everything. They have a certain sense about SOME people, though, usually those with 'dead' looking eyes and saggin' pants...
