1-2-1-2 shift on acceleration

1-2-1-2 shift on acceleration
Under a moderate load my C-6 when starting out from a dead start will shift up and down real quick all by itself. As I speed up it will eventually stay in 2nd and then on to 3rd like normal. On hills it feels like someone has a manual shifter and it just going back and forth with it. The transmission was just rebuilt 1500 miles ago and has worked perfect until a couple days ago. I doesn't do it every time. Just once in awhile. I'm wondering if any of you have had this happen and what the cause was. I will be taking it to the guy that built the transmission Monday.
The linkage and kick down are adjusted properly. I also shift real early and pretty soft. It has an adjustable modulator so I will be putting a couple turns on that this afternoon to see if that makes much difference.
