I just bought a 2000 Expedition EB, 200k miles on it but runs well and seems in good shape. But the turn signals do not work, neither does the 4 ways. The multi-function control stick was a little wobbly so I replaced it, but the turn signals still do not work. I'm trying to replace the flasher next but when I try to find it, there are two relays instead of the one all of the literature says it should have. I've attached a picture. Is this the correct relay? Do I replace both? Or should I be looking elsewhere? I tried checking fuses but I don't see a blown one.
However, looking at those, it doesnt look like you have the correct relays. The flasher relay should be blue, its located behind the dash about where the ignition key is.
So I need to get a flasher into one of these or both? I saw the blue ones in the pic but didn't see a blue one under the dash. I suspect a previous owner had this issue as well and maybe didn't know what to put in there. Not sure.
Thanks guys. On to a new problem. I changed the flasher and now it works, but only if the tilt steering is all the way up. I've read about this problem elsewhere.

When tilted down the wires going to the switch are too tight and the connectors get pulled out of the switch. That's probably the 'no turn signals' issue the previous owner was trying to chase down when he replaced the flasher with a relay. To solve this problem you have to get a bit more slack on the wires running up the column, then tape or wire-tie the connectors to the switch.
