'82 Multi piece Past
Does anyone know where to buy a chrome/stainless antenna mast that is in three sections?
My truck had one but tree limb broke it and I got a replacement which after a year and a half is pure rust. The other which I thought was OEM never rusted on me and LMC sells one but the mast is not detachable mine was as I just replaced the mast with a universal replacement one piece but the thing shakes and bends in the air at highway speeds the old one didn't really move at all and I would like to put one back on this truck.
Did Ford ever used these on the trucks? I looked it up in my parts and illustration guide and it makes no mention of one piece or multi piece other than on the replacement masts and ebay searching the part numbers only come up with one piece masts.

Hard to tell mine has the short thin threaded end on the bottom of the mast which is correct for '82. I found some on ebay that was a multi piece mast but the threaded end was like 3" long when this one is no more than 1/4 to 1/2 inch.

Another possibility
Look at this: the mast is removable and has the short threaded end.
