Carburator

Hello Everyone,
I'm new here.
I have a 1985 F250 with the 460 engine. I need to purchase a new/rebuilt carburator.
Can you tell me where is the best place to purchase this? Right now i'm looking at LMC Truck.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Larry

Welcome to FTE Larry !
If you are looking for an original rebuilt, I would look to :
Carburetors - Wholesale to the Public & Free Shipping!
I have had very good luck with them with good customer service at reasonable prices.
IMO, LMC would be low on my list of suppliers.

Post a few pics...it's always helpful when asking questions to have a few of the truck, interior, and engine compartment.....

Welcome to FTE!

I would not buy a carb from LMC. Yours should be a Holley 4180C, as shown on my web site: Holley 4180C - Gary's Garagemahal. If so, any reputable carb shop can rebuild it.

The 4180 was also used on the 5.0 H.O. found in Mustang GT's around 1985.

If you intend to rebuild, I strongly suggest the genuine Holley 3-1346 kit.
Hygrade and GP-Sorenson just don't have the same quality as oem.
