I found this behind the front bumper on the frame below the radiator at the bottom of the vehicle. I'm thinking its for fog lights but I'm not sure. Does anybody know? If it's for fog lights, where can I get a wire to plug into it? I'm installing some fog lights right now and plugging into that would be much easier than wiring them myself. This is a 2016 F-250 XL
Depending on how you xl truck is equipped it may not be as simple as adding the lights and wires you may also have to replace the smart junction box as well and have programmed by your dealer. Here is my post form a similar topic a few days ago.

For the most part it is depending on how your truck is equipped if your talking about your 16 you may have to also replace the smart junction box too and have it programmed at the dealer here's a link to a kit from a ford dealer it says 14-15 but I think 16's should be the same too but you may want to confirm that with someone more familiar with the new trucks than me if you have power windows and door locks it looks like you can use the xlt kit which doesn't have a new junction box and is cheaper and no programming is needed.
And here's a link for the xl fog light kit it does say 14-15 but I don't think anything changed for 16
