hi all, just found this board, im sure i'll have plenty of questions as time goes on lol..
anyway, my girlfriend's dad has a 67-72 F250 i believe. i think it is a 3/4 ton. he wants to get it back road worthy again and wants to find some wheels to replace the split wheels that are on it, most tire places won't touch them, are there any wheels i can replace these with? say like from a newer truck? they are the 8-lug wheels..
You can use the 8 lug F250 rims up untill like 97 when they changed to the body they have now the lug pattern changed.
If you go with a 16 in 8 lug you will have a lot bigger selection on chosing tires. 16.5's are getting phased out slowly.
sorry, typo lol. from what he told me the wheels are a split wheel, last time he had tires put on it he said it took them well over 5 hours. thank you for the help so far, i'll have to run around and see what i can find.. thanks
