So I just installed some new 37" tires on my 1995 f150. It has a 6" rough country suspension lift and a 2" leveling kit in the front, and 2" blocks in the rear. The rear has 9.5 " of clearance from the top of the tire to the wheel well, while the front originally only had about 7.5" of clearance, I think it's due to sagging coil springs. I put 4 coil spring boosters in on each side and now the front is sitting at 8-8.5" of clearance, but the tires still rub the wheel well on moderately sharp turns. I want another inch in the front and don't really want to trim back the wheel well. Should I go with some stiffer or longer coil springs? If so what would be a good kind to buy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you God bless
You say it has a 6 inch rough country lift with a leveling kit?,are you using coil spacers or??
I'm not sure who still makes lifts for these trucks but maybe skyjacker or bds might have some good coils.
Rough country is the cheapest lift kits out there and generally you get what you pay for.
You could try a body lift to clear better.
I have a 4 inch rancho lift and a 3 inch body and it rides great and could probably clear 37's,never had an issue with the body lift either, just make sure the bolts are tight
