I'm not sure I'd feel safe working under something like that.

Cool find, but like what has been said, that looks very flimsy and I wouldn't trust it to hold the weight of an Aero.

I had a lift nearly identical to that, but from Snap-on. There are limitations to that design of lift but its capability was rather impressive and mine saw a LOT of use. My '88 shorty Aero routinely was on the lift without issue. Regardless of the size of vehicle on the lift you simply had to be conscious of the slight 'swaying' back and forth. That is a result of the lift's very portable design. Other than that, it was great!

My discomfort level just shot up with that.

Even though my extended length AWD van weighs about 500 pounds more than a shorty, and this lift is rated at 6000 lbs, I would not want to spend much time underneath that setup.

This thing is I was never really under the vehicle often when working. The lift's design almost prevents you from doing exhaust, RWD trans fluid service, etc. Brakes, suspension work, wheels swaps, all worked very well with that lift. I'm as safe as anybody(usually 'that' guy) and was never too concerned about something happening. The lift I had was a Snap-on and the higher weight capacity was more than the generic brands. The thing was very solid. Sold to a friend when I moved and he still uses it today.
