Has anyone had success in painting a AOD? Any issues to worry about.?

 

The case is either aluminum or steel right? with proper prep, primer and paint I see no issue. I've painted many transmissions and never had a problem, they do not get hot enough to affect the paint. Key word in all this is proper preparation of the case prior to primer or paint, meaning oil free, grease free, cleaned up with a scotch brite pad etc.
