It was a good relaxing weekend after a hellish week at university. I got the lift all buttoned up on my 4runner today. Took it around the block and it seems all good. I'll have to get it aligned this week.
Hey guys is it really that hard to drive in snow? I did it once but was in a mustang gt so I don't count that lol. Just curious cuz I want to take my truck when the family wants to go visit the snow

I've driven in the snow a lot. Driving isn't any harder, but keeping the vehicle on the road is a bit more of a challenge.
Use the throttle like there is an egg between your foot and the gas pedal, and that will help you from breaking loose. Also try to develop a good seat of the pants feel for whether you have purchase on the road. Be prepared to counter steer at the drop of a hat. It's not harder, it's just slower.
Snow is one of the times it pays the most to be cautious. You need to leave more room between you and the car in front of you. You need to slow down sooner. You need to speed up more slowly.
Imagine trying to run across a frozen lake bed without falling. The best way to get across is to be as careful as possible.
I don't think driving in the snow is difficult though. The hard part is contending with all the people that are normally terrible drivers that become dangerous drivers in the snow.
The snow is easy driving , it's the ice that will reach up and get ya, easy on the braking lightly pumping the brake petal , when you hit ice stearing could be jeopardized so like mentioned slight counter steer but not too much to send the tail into a spin,
My back after 5 days of pain I can reach my shoes ( with pain) MRI shows all sorts of Funky, headed for Injections dam I hate needles

Best of luck with your back! My dad has been fighting with his Dr. to get an MRI for his back scheduled since August. He finally decided to dump him and go somewhere else...
Howdy fellers, busy busy here....pics of a small job installed in stockton today. Did the back rotors and pads on the 05 and have been looking for a 302 for the 60....Will be driving the 60 for the rest of the week, I will be local. Gas is down to $1.81 here in town, I can deal with that
My back has just started hurting these past two days. Don't think it is anything serious yet, might be I slept wrong two nights ago. If it persists, I will make an appointment at the VA.
Happy Humpeth Day Nor Cal FTE. Hope everyone has a great day.
The CEL has come back on again. I am guessing it is the same issue with the TPS. Guess I will double check with a scanner, and then look for a replacement. The mechanic was able to clean it last time but stated it would act up again. So maybe this time I will just replace it.
