I have had one of my department's fire trucks kick out on me on icy roads once....now that is a handful.

Yeah it was. She had just over 4 ton of water on board and that was it. It was during driver training right after we took delivery of it. The truck has an electronic exhaust brake on it and when it is turned on and you let of the gas, the truck will take the transmission and downshift from 5th to 2nd to help slow it down. Well, it kicked the back end out but I was able to get it back in line.
