Yeah they bent a little. My buddy towed it with is 12 valve stacked turbo cummins. I looked at the speedo a few times and seen 75mph. I was white knuckling it! That dodge 3500 didn't even know it was behind it.

thanks, my fingers are crossed. But even if I have to do a engine swap I'm not in it to deep. I gave $7k for the truck and I have a lead on a rear ended 2002 with a 7.3 for $2k and 2000 e350 with a 7.3 for $1200 with a turbo that won't spool

I've never been a guy to Mod things out, so while going thru this new truck I'm finding things. One being this **** thingy under the dash. Looked it up and it's a adjustable tuner. Are these worth a dang? Should I just yank it out?
The wife bought this for me last night too! 2010 VW TDI , our second one she wheels a Red 2013 VW TDI.

On the chip, it certainly is worth keeping it if the person/company that programmed the tunes on it was any good at it. The technology is a little older, but if the programs are good, there isn't any reason to pull it out, unless you wanted to go with a newer Hydra based tuning that most tuners are supporting now, or the F6 or Infinity from DP Tuner. With those, you can try out new tunes and have them emailed to you. With the TS style you have now, the big disadvantage is, you have to pull the chip, and send it out to be reprogrammed. The fact that you don't know what is on it right now sucks. Is there any paperwork on it in the center console or the glove box?

I would get in contact with Tony Wildman down in Texas. Or Swamps diesel, I know they both used to support that style of tuner. Tony has fantastic tunes according to many people I trust.
