I asked this question on the 49-56 forum but will ask it here as well!
For those who have replaced your original wing type door windows, have you notice a reduction in wind noise.
We drive my truck a lot at hi-way speeds and it is pretty quiet until above 65 mph. we have A/C so we don't use the wings that much. I have tried taping the small gaps at the separator bar and it seems to help, a little. Can't tell for sure just where the wind noise is coming from, Door seal or window channels. I really like the stock look of my truck, not trying for a show look just thinking it may help on the long road trips.
Just as a suggestion from something I dealt with on wind noise. I found a lot of the noise comes from the mirrors. I even found this true on my Ranchero that has small mirrors. Might try removing them and doing a quick test drive.
