Read the post on the 393's. Didn't know they could be had for cheap. So what all would I need to make a 393? Where is the best place to get parts for it?

ford racing has a crank scat has a crank no to mention a few others. A lot of people like the scat crank. Then you will need some stock rods which you already have and some 302 stock type piston again not too expensive considering all the 5.0 being built. How many valve reliefs depend on the heads you use but again that is about it, or you could opt for the crank, rods, and pistons in a kit for around 1000-1200. Good luck with your project

3.85" crank ($300) made of nod iron
5.955" rods ($free, you have these)
1.61 Comp height 302 pistons ($250 for forged)

Just use ARP hardware and everything should be fine. I'd also ditch your stock heads for something that will breathe a ton better with those cubes.
