I'm trying to finda co. that produces a full intake system (tubes, clamps, filter etc. ) for my '89 Bronco. (It's the one with 2 intake tubes coming from the t.b.) The stock airbox & induction is like a freakin' maze. I can only imagine how restrictive it is. Does anybody know if such a kit exists? All I can find anywhere are filters. Even a homemade job with pics would help??
I had an idea to try and swap some mustang parts out, but don't know if it'll work. Any ideas??
You could try eldebrock and some different performance sites. I know edldbrock makes one. Its an intake, throttle body set up for broncos/F150s. Its is suppose to be tuned from idle to about 5000 rpms. I've been looking at it for my 90 bronco.
K&N makes the FIPK (I think that stands for fuel injection performance kit) for it but it is like $230. I think it is way to expensive for what it is and what you get out of it.
Don't bother with the FIPK. Not enough gain for the money and too much warm under-hood air being drawn in. Check the results found here..... http://performanceunlimited.com/projectmpg/
