This has got to be the worst year so far in my life! So far this year, my dad has lost his job and hasnt been able to find one since then, because of that were on a very tight budget, we had to put my dog to sleep, so we got another dog to take its place and I swear I want to kill it... It has chewed up at least $500 worth of my stuff, its chewed up a $300 camera and a bunch of my video games and DVD's, and today we had to put my cat to sleep . I miss both my pets SO much....
Sorry, but I just had to get that off my chest, its been building up too much and it all came out on this thread.......
Uh, i think the dog was probably sick or old Eric, not expensive.
Anyway sorry to hear about your losses. Things will turn around for you and your family.
With the drought around here the farm hasn't been so productive so I had to get a job to pay for my truck parts. Its probably a good idea for you to try and help out, your dad is probably going through a lot and I am sure you are feeling the pressure too.
Try and find some information about training your dog not to eat things. It's usually not the dog's fault when it does something wrong. When a dog is taught and disciplined correctly, it will be a very well behaved dog. Give him nylabone's and other hard bones are good for the dog. Give him things to chew they need to chew things! If he's bored and doesn't have his own things to chew, guess what, there goes your camera.
Originally posted by Torque1st Why would you put an animal down to save money, then get another??? Sorry that sounds just plain perverted and sick to me.
What was wrong with the cat, did it cost money too???
No we didnt put either one down because of money.. Sorry I forgot to explain what happened to them.. The dog had a tumor in her liver, and the cat had cancer and a tumor the size of a lime in his stomach.

I hope things look up for you.
Thank you. Yea better to let them sleep than to have them go through all that pain just because you want them alive
Appreciate the kind words gentlemen . More often then not owners are not happy with their dogs mistakes because they can't discipline the dog correctly to correct the mistakes from happening again. Have a great day.
