Lifter tic after repairs
About a month ago I took my truck in for a coolant leak under warrantee which went horribly wrong and I ended up with new crank bearings as well as a few other things. This all took three weeks. When my truck was returned it had a horrible lifter tick which was promised to disappear after 500 miles. 600 miles later no cookie so before I call them up I wanted a little more info on what’s causing it. The tic is loud when cold, unnoticeable when idling warm (with AC on) as well as under acceleration, loud when I let of the gas and slightly their when idling with AC off. Does it sound like bad oil pressure? Second it has a whirling noise that’s speed sensitive from somewhere, however this doesn’t bother me as much just a side note maybe somebody’s had it before (somewhere form the mid to rear). Any help would be great other wise the truck runs fine (so far).
