When the engine warms up several lifters get a little noisy. They are hydralic . The oil pressure is good. I believe I gave them enough preload (.050), however I am not sure that I replaced the rockers with the ball pivot in same position as they were worn into. Could it be that if this is the case, the new position of the fulcrum on the rocker has worn itself a new seating surface and thereby cancelling out the preload which I gave them? Or...should I just determine the noisy ones and give then more preload? The engine is a 460 in my 67 F100. Thanks for any ideas.

I'm not a Lima engine expert but isn't the lifter preload more like around .090? Do your rockers have that baffle that's suppost to be pointing up? I don't think the turned-around fulcrum could wear out that much. Maybe try more preload.
