I honestly have never seen a running driving corvair-- There are lost of them in feilds-- and I saw one converted to a dune buggy.

Who would think not selling it and letting it rot away is better.
In the late 70s my friend’s neighbor had a early corvair convertible in good condition sitting in his yard. I asked about buying it. “Nope!” Last I saw 40 years later the hulk hadn’t moved. It is now way beyond saving.

I had a neighbor who had a couple of them ,I'd get a ride once in awhile to school with him. They were nice cars but Nader got them taken off the road .

I know where there is one rotting-- it is a Speed buggy fiberglass one-- its on top of a shipping crate in Beloit.
