The Barbers 54 f100 project

Removed a lot of cancer from the lower part of the cab. Currently have welded in 3 of the lower door jams. They all required some reworking. I still have to finish weld all of them and a little more reworking. I also fabbed up a patch for the bottom of 1 of the triangle supports. Next will be patching the lower firewall then I can reinstall the triangle and start putting the rocker panels and inner cab corners back in

Be sure to check your door gaps before you finish your hinge buckets permanently....
When I put mine on, the buckets were nearly 1/4" out from the factory position. Had to drill the spot welds, and relocate them.
Ended up widening the hole, and the filling the other side of it.....

Nice work. I'm working the exact same cab issues you are. Replaced all four corners and rockers, made new triangle braces and inner fender braces, door pockets, lower back cab panel. Making the floor pan next and the dimmer bucket. Everyone said throw that cab away and get a better one but I guess I'm hard headed. Takes more time but it will pay off in skills acquired.
