Having a really hard time finding a left rear brake baking plate for my 77 F100. Anyone know if I can use one from a different year or maybe even from a Bronco. Just looking for options. Thanks.

Should be a 9" axle. I THINK any 9" from F150 73-78 SHOULD have same backing plate, also 78 Bronco. In 79 (sometime) the housing ends changed to smaller bolts, which match backing plate. U did say F100, I'm assuming should be same as F150
'68-'86 9-inch truck rear end backing plates for 11" x 2-1/4" drums with a 5 x 5.5" lug pattern will be a direct fit. The backing plate will need to have (4) 1/2" backing plate bolt holes on a 3-1/2" horizontal pattern by 2-3/8" vertical bolt pattern. (Old style large axle bearing pattern).
There was also an old style large axle bearing pattern but it had 3/8" diameter backing plate bolts. This will be obvious to spot that the backing plate bolts are smaller than 1/2".
There was also a newer 'Torino' style large axle bearing flange with 3/8" backing plate bolts but, it was on a wider 3.562" horizontal bolt pattern by a narrower 2.00" vertical pattern.
