96 e350 cutaway (shuttle bus) 7.5 gas 107000 miles
purchased bus and have not heard it run
it will crank with oil pressure. drained bad gas and dropped tank. replaced shot pump. re installed new pump. no power to pump. jumped pin 6 in test plug to ground. no pump.
no spark to spark plugs
inertia switch not tripped
cannot pull any codes from test plug.
cannot locate a green or brown relay..... are these now located in the power distribution box under the master cylinder?
im not sure if im even getting power to pcm.... any suggestions would be great.
not sure where to start here!
ok all, i am excited to say that i fixed the problem and have actually heard the bus run.....it's smooth as butter! so i was swapping relays between busses when i noticed that my running bus had 4 more fuses in the power distribution box than the non running bus....quick trip to autozone and 12 dollars later, It lives again!!
Previous owner was a college and they stole parts off my bus to keep their fleet running. including the ecm fuse....... so soon i will take it for its first ride in 6 years!!! im stoked
