Shake from side to side
my 96F150 shakes from side to side when going down the highway at about 55-60mph. It did this even before I had the following done.new front rotors and hubs installed,new front pads,new bearings, new top and bottom ball joint dr. side, and I also just had the tires re-balanced. he told me that the 2 front rims seem a little "wobbly" he asked if I had hit anything. I have had the truck for the past 40k miles. What should I check for next? I am baffled here. My front shocks are Rancho5000's about a year old.

Shake from side to side
The shop indicated "wobbly" rims. I guess that means excessive runout. This could be the cause. Try moving the front wheels to the rear and the rear to the front and see if the shake moves to the rear. If so replace the rims. Tires can also cause this type of symptom when they become damaged and the belts shift, but since the shop stated that the rims were "wobbly" I would suspect they are the cause.
