Alright I picked up a 1950 F2 about 2 years ago. Then I realized I really had no place to work on it. So the building of the barn started. Now I'm almost done with it so I can start on the truck. Just remember when your caught up in the moment to think about what comes next. In my case I should have built the barn first then found a truck.
Here's a few pics will start stripping the truck down to the frame next. Objective is to make this a daily work truck on the place and to get supplies in. So a 351 W and C6 out of a 1985 f150 will be going into it. Also a new rear end with more highway friendly gears.
Thanks! First part of barn is a shop the back half has pigs, and the upstairs I'm doing as an apartment for my son while he is going to college. Tired of him waking me up when he comes in.
Hey Abusek
I'm going to have to look into this whole pig thing.... My 24
year old son is still living here. I think I'm being too nice -
I'll explain that we are getting some pigs to be his roommates.
This might just work...
Love your barn too. Did you put a lift in there? Now that would make
me truly jealous...
Thanks everyone. Still doing electrical and need to get the garage doors on. I keep the pig pens pretty clean and have polyurethane spray foam insulation that keeps any odor from going upstairs. Oh, no lift but would love one.
I'm sure I will have many questions as I start on the truck. Really have not work on anything but my tractor for the last 30 years.
