I really think it would be important to have a thread built, and put in the tech folder, that describes the various illnesses associated with our vehicles.
A public service announcement "warning" people of the dangers of FTE and its various diseases.
It would be a shame to spread this to unknowing and innocent people.
Probably TOO late to post here. Need to have folks driving around sticking them on all Exs for sale and a computer guru (cough, cough) insert a pic with each online ad..
When I picked mine up, I just wanted a diesel rig that could tow the Chevelle and carry the family in comfort. Fast forwards three years after the initial 'just an intake' decision and I now have a 9200lb family SUV than can hole shot and walk on an Evo X from a heads up dig.
The Chevelle? I just barely finished the motor for it. It was supposed to be running and driving and done by now.
Welcome! From Eagle River, AK myself! Seeing a lot of Excursions on the roads up here lately.
Eagle River, we called that town home for four years. We still miss it. Were about are you located? We lived back behind the park where they hold the Bear Paw Festival. On a little road called Copper Mountain Drive. It was great, we could walk to the festival, the bowling alley, even Carrs, and not worry about parking! Man do we miss living there!
Tried to send reps for the sign but I'm in jail. I want to get new springs for our EX, but our other vehicles keep sucking up the funds. The big purple daily driver gets a little pigish at times

That's too funny, I'm just on the other side of the main Eagle River road near the Eagle River Elementary school. Been here for about 8 years now, but born and raised in Anchorage.
Speaking of the Bear Paw Festival when we first bought our house we didn't know anything of it. Well apparently the Junior ROTC does a pre warm up in the ball field right outside our window..... We thought we were under attack when they started their chants / yelling with 200+ kids.
