I have an 01 F350 with 6" of lift, and I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with the michelin xml 325x85R16.. they come out to a 38.5x13 and are supposed to wear like iron from what I've heard
never had any personal experience with them, but there was a guy that owned a junkyard south of me that bought a trailer load of them when Fort Monmouth closed a few years ago and sold them all within 2 weeks.
Nice, like everyone, I want bigger tires without the big tire price lol... .mainly a tire that might actually last too.. I don't tow much and I off road a little, so I don't need a super aggressive tire
I want a set of those so I can street drive my truck without killing my boggers.
I have had a set of 9.00r16 XL's, heavy and loud but wore well, and I have honestly not had a rounder tire on that truck in a very long time.
I ran them probably 10k before I bought my first set of boggers in 2008. I got them in a trade from a friend of mine who had bought them from another friend who bought them surplus at probably 50%. When I sold them they had probably had 30k miles put on them since the initial purchase and were probably around the 25% mark. Kid I sold them to had them regrooved and I think they are still going.
