supercab cab

Watch local classifieds, Craigslist etc. You may have to buy a whole truck to find a cab, but I've always seemed to come out ok by doing that very thing. You can usually sell some extra parts off to help offset the cost. Plus, you usually find parts on them that are better than the ones you already have...........Kind of a win.....win deal!

Where are you located? I get most parts from Graig's List Parts or complete vehicles for part for older dent side trucks I have. The 73-79 super cabs show up now and then but a lot have same issues with rust/ repairs needed. Craig's List Sacramento and on a Non-op. Might be something your interested in if in Nor Cal. You may have to travel a distance to find good parts for super cabs. Good luck with parts search for your super cab.

If I recall from other information that previous people have posted the frames for 73-77.5 all were the same. 77.5 - 79 frame behind the cab are wider and may fit if additional holes / brackets to mount the bed. I'm not sure if frame dimension from cab to radiator are same. Some other FTE member may know that answer and will chime in. I think to mount a 74 super cab to a 93 will require quite a bit of fabrication and welding but not impossible. I hope this information is useful for your project.
