tranny/driveshaft problem
I got a 97 ranger, 2.3l, auto tranny, 2wd, reg cab, that develops a problem when driven fast for anywhere between a half hour to an hour or more. At first it starts losing a bit of power and some vibration is felt on the steering wheel and it seems that the driveshaft rips up the seal in the extension housing and damages the yoke and other hw in there if u keep on driving it, it leaks and even drains out automatic fluid when the seal is torn up. Does anybody know what the cause might be. I had the yoke and other parts replaced but it happened again for the second time. I'm trying to figure out what is making this happen? Any thoughts/help is greatly appreciated. thanx
