Oh, and I pulled a Carfax on the truck a few days ago. The front end was rebuilt in Nov. of 2013 with 56k on it. While they did that they replaced the shocks as well. I'm really surprised the front end needed rebuilt that earlier on with a stock suspension...

I just used the VIN decoder and looks like the truck has 3.73 rears. I'm kind of bummed about that. I figured if it was used as a government rig it would have the better 4.10 or 4.30 rears.
Guess a re-gear is in my future...
My VIN comes up as 3.73 gears too. That's one of the reasons why I hmmed and hawwed about it for 2 weeks before seeing it in person. When I saw it in person I looked at the door tag and it has the axle code C3 which means 4.30 gears. Check your door sticker, maybe you'll get lucky too!
EDIT to add this:
The following lists the gear ratios on rear axles.
A little trick I learned in another thread is by simply looking at your rpm's. Picture is of mine with 4.30s. With 3.73 I believe the RPM needle would be at the 2 or just below at 65 mph.
Finding a clean used low mileage X is getting harder to do! I wouldn't get to upset over it not having the overhead console or power vent Windows. I rarely use mine. The 3.73's I wouldn't worry about as they can be changed. I'm towing 9200 lbs with mine, I did it for one year on flatlands with the 3.73's. No thanks! 4.30's were a very welcome addition along with tunes from 5 star!
If you have nothing overhead upfront then I doubt it has any type of wiring already there, I could be wrong though!
It looks like you found a clean low mileage X, which in itself is a good find. I would just enjoy it as is and upgrade as you want!
Thanks 1 EX. I talked it over with the wife today and tonight about it. The real issue is the fact it may not have rear AC. However, the wife saids it isn't an issue. A lot of custom vans don't have rear AC and it never seems to be an issue.
Only thing is, would there be rear controls on the overhead console just for heat???
I again just looked at the pictures you posted. The white X appears to have an overhead console and rear heat/air. Is this the X you are talking about?

Niiiiiiiicccceee!!!!!!!! Happy for you. I know how excited I was. I don't think dealer even had a clue. The salesman didn't know what I was talking about but it sealed the deal for me.
That is great news!
When will you actually be taking possession of this EX? Where is it coming from?
Now all we need to find out is if actually has the rear air, I'm betting that it does based on it having all three rows of seats and carpeting. Most of the municipal service EXs that I've seen without rear air also had rubber floors and no third row seat.
