Well, the '16 plan was 10k miles with the boat in tow...but now with retirement over...going to have to settle for 5k.
New wheels would be nice too...Centerlines are looking a bit dated.

Drive it more!!! 4k miles last year was not enough!

Install a boss snow plow mount and wiring
New rear hatch shocks
New wiper nozzle on the drivers side
Rigid lighting
Repaint hood


All I can think of right now.

 

I'm not planning on making the 6.0 trans work with it. The newer 3V V10 use the 5R110W and play nicely together.

I'm not 100% sure it would work, but the harness and ECU from the doner would be the only way I would do it. I would essentially have the brain box of a 05+ superduty or motor home.

Making all of the dash stuff work would be the real trick. Lol

 

What I'm hearing you need a donor 05-07 SD. new axles, engine, transmission, dash, computer..ect

 

Pretty much. Not really a cost effective plan/project and definitely not realistic for my Ex and myself.
Might be fun for a future project though.

Get the shift on the fly 4X4 to work 100%.

 

Fixed my first one today! The rear hatch lock. Just needed cleaned and lubricated. Works like new!
