I am pretty sure that is not an original excursion color - let alone the mirrors, lower valance, running boards, etc all painted Robin egg blue.
What makes you think it is the original color?
I've seen a couple painted this color.
There was one on the local Craigslist that was being sold... Even had the grey leather interior... And here's one being parted out. 2000 FORD EXCURSION
I wanna say that the paint code is SP, Medium Steel Blue Metallic.

Could be my computer, but the two trucks do not look like they are the same color. The one you linked to looks like the medium blue that you mentioned, but the one in the first post looks lighter and more pearlescent.
Full disclosure: my wife says that I am terrible with colors and matching. Everything I own is either black, white, or brown!
There are more pics on the ad detailing jambs etc. Just an odd color.
Disc. I have no interest in it, just saw it on CL.
Give me five minutes to walk around that thing and I'll find overspray, orange peel, fish eye something...anything to show that is a botched paint job. Most factory paint applications are not perfect but they won't have as many issues as any aftermarket applications.
I haven't seen to many in the color that ours is, I don't remember the name at the moment. Since the picture was taken I've removed the vinyl sticker and chrome door handle covers, and added blocks in the rear.
