If I'm not mistaken , jiffy lube or any mechanic for that matter can check the coolant for gasses or contaminates , might be worth a trip to check, cant remember so please help me , did you ever dump the straight water out and get 50/50 mix in ? Also if driving around what are your temp spreads now?

You said smell like exhaust, not check for exhaust. I can smell for it and plus I purchased the diesel test fluid to go with my combustion gas test kit.
If I am not even supposed to be driving it in fear it might really blow a gasket and hydro lock, why would I want to drive it to jiffy lube?
I never had straight water in there, I had the green prestone in there at about a 60/40 mix. I just got back from the tractor supply yesterday with the other gallon of the rotella elc that I needed, so the next day it is warm out, I will do the flush and refill.

Ok sorry got your thread mixed up with one that had straight water, and it sounded like you were trying to drive the truck I'm glad it's almost Friday I shouldn't think from Monday through Thursday lol, don't forget to do a complete flush drop the block plugs , mixing ELC with other coolant won't be good unless it's ELC

All my gauges read Psi, unless I use a Thermometer or a heat gun.

A boost gauge will measure pressure in either psi or bar; many also measure manifold vacuum pressure in inches of mercury (in. Hg) or mm of mercury (mm Hg).

I bought one Fumoto valve for the block plug behind the starter, so as soon as it gets warm, which I believe is going to be Monday, I am going to do the flush with hose water then distilled water and then 50/50 or 60/40 of the Rotella ELC.

I am aware that there are 2 drain plugs but I don't see any need for a fumoto valve on the drivers side since it is easy to get to, at least I don't have to remove the starter.

After removing the plug a dozen or so times you will wish you bought that side.

Especially when the lift is being used and your crawling under the truck , may aswell dump hot coffee on ur head too good thing about these plugs are you can hook a hose line to it and direct the hot flush away

I don't know why I would have to remove that driver side drain plug more than 3 times. Once when draining out all the green Prestone, then once again to drain the garden hose water and then finally to drain the distilled water. Why would I be needing to remove it more than 3 times and I won't be working on a lift.
I managed to reach the engine oil pan drain plug without even jacking it up at all, just crawling in from under the front.
Any idea what the possibilities of installing a Ford gas engine in this and if so does anyone want to buy this 6.0 cheap. It only has 60,000 miles on it and you know what it needs, head gaskets and studs. the eot and ect deltas seem just fine.
