I am installing a preformer 400 intake on may engine and this intake doesn't have the same hook up location for the vacum fitting. Can I hook it up where there is a threaded port on the rear right hand side of the intake? there is also a port on the back of the carb, should it go there?

 

The one on the intake would go to your power brakes and whatever else needs strong vac., and the one off the carb I put over to the PCV.
