V10 plug insert in cylinder help
So I am new here and I hate to start out with a bad one here but here it is I bought a 1999 f450 with 50k miles on it at the auction
it was a fleet vehicle that had a plug pop out on cylinder 4 which they Tried to repair, what ended up happening is the plug insert got pushed into the cylinder .... I bought the new timsert big insert kit and intended on drilling out the hole and retrieving the old insert BUT it turns out the old insert is shorter but the same diameter and will not come out the new hole
So my question is before I pull the head or the engine is it possible to drop the intake or even exhaust valve far enough without loosing it into the cylinder to get my snake magnent in there and retrieve the insert. any help would be great. thanks andy
