Exhaust Problem please help
Hi,
My friend just bought an 87 f150 lariot with a 351 in it. The exhaust SUCKS its factory, its horrible... it needs to be changed. I wants to switch over to dual exhaust. The engine was rebuilt before he got the truck and its actually in very nice condition minus the exhaust. I just need to know which set of long tubes, and which exhaust pipe I can use. emissions aren't a problem where we live but anything is fine please help. BTW we prefer long tube headers over the factory exhaust manifolds. Mufflers arent a problem its just a pipe and headers I need help with which ones would fit on the 87.

Hey guys! I beleive Hooker still makes the headers for the conversion you speak of. You may want to use the 2.5" exhaust with the headers to keep back-pressure at a decent level for performance and fuel mileage.
