i need your help. I dont know if there must be a spring to hold the kick-down-linkage in the right position?



I have nowhere found a picture where can be seen

I'm not a 2 bbl guy, I have some in the garage, but I'm 2hrs from home.
IIRC, There is a light spring to draw it back into place. At the sane time, my kickdown linkage spring back, is at the trans end. Sorry I'm no help

 

I would take a picture of what i have going on when I get home, but I think I am missing springs and links on mine lol

Yes there is. All V8 Bumps, 67/72, had spring part number C5AZ7B146F. 2" long and it had 14 1/2 coils. These places show as having it in stock.
