OBS rear bumper

Are there any rear bumpers for the OBS that have a more rounded look like the front and don't hang low like an afterthought? I was noticing this the other day when parked next to a newer E150 van and was wondering if I could possibly adapt the E150 rear bumper to fit my truck...any thoughts or suggestions?

Typically the E-series bumpers do not have a step. Also their frames are a different width than pickups as well

if you don't like the step bumper get a rollpan, they match the body perfectly.

have to go back to 79 and earlier to find a contoured rear bumper. the 80-86 had a smaller step bumper that kind of matched the back end of the box contours but still stuck out significantly from the body.

van body is completely different, might be able to adapt something to look decent but body lines won't match .

good luck

If I remember correctly the 80-86 trucks had a bumper that looked a lot like the econoline bumper. I would look on LMCs website or NPDs to see pictures of them and see if that is closer to what you want.
The 80-86 bumpers all bolt straight on to the 87-96 trucks.

I still want a step bumper, just something that doesn't hang down so low and looks like an afterthought. I don't want a roll pan because I still want the protection of a bumper; I got rear ended by a guy in a Grand Am who wasn't paying attention when I was stopped a light, I have a feeling he was texting or reading a text. Well the putz hit me pretty hard, hard enough to cause my neck to hurt three weeks after. My rear bumper was fine aside from the fact that the left side hung about an inch lower, but still no visible damage. The front bumper of his Grand Am was cracked and pushed in. Now if I had a roll pan instead of a bumper, I'm sure the damage would have been to the rollpan as well as the bed....

I've seen some with and without steps, but this is more of what I was thinking of....

From the side the bumper doesn't hang low in this pic...
