My '59 F350. 9' flareside. I bought the 9' box first. It was a box trailer with Merc tailgate. Then I found a more conventional f350 stakebed to put this exceptional bed on. Then I installed a cummins 6at which is 220 cu in and 120 hp 6 cyl turbo diesel built in the '80s. It came from a ups truck. Chev sm365 4 speed, rear axle is a sterling 10 1/4 from a '92 f350. It has been very successful and I use it to haul some heavy loads for work. Does 80 on the freeway when I ask it to, but I live on an island so that doesn't happen often. Had a build thread here a few years back called 'kinda like a hot rod but it isn't hot'. Anyhow, it's a great truck.

Here's a '57 I used to own. It had a Mustang II clip, 302, C4, with a Versailles rear end and a fuel cell.
