Question Proportining valve question

Hey everyone and thanks for reading my post. I have a 79 f150 with front disc rear drum. What happened is my brakes wore down a lot and the pin in thr proportioning valve popped out i belive? I could be wrong but the brake like stays on now. The brakes are good though an di have fluid in the master cylindar and no leaks. If the pin popped out how is it pressed back in? Thank you for your time.

You have to bleed the front brakes a little to get it (the pin) to recenter, and allow fluid to go to the back brakes.
