The lift blocks go under the coil spring perch they are one and a half inch thick. Are they safe.

Lift blocks under the back leaf springs are fine...I wouldn't go bonkers on the height, though.

Lift blocks in the front are an accident waiting to happen...torsional stress and angular motion/stress does a number on 'em. If it were me, front blocks are always a big no-no, unsafe at any speed!! Don't want to hear that "Ooops!" word!

There are other ways to lift your front...CTS comes to mind...skyjacker is another one....I'm sure there are others.... Do a "gooogley" search... you might come up with something satisfactory for you.

Or you could go with smaller diameter tires - but, personally, Ilike the stance you have now.

My truck now has a winch on it. It was on jack stands for about a week with no pressure on the springs and when I let it back down it was almost the same height as the back. About a week later it was back down again by two and a half inches.I am going with a 2 inch body lift instead. It has a 6 inch skyjacker lift on it,

Yeah, sounds like some really weak/ old front springs....have you looked into NOS springs? I'd be concerned with a body lift the old springs might not take the pounding and might compress further. Is that the OEM front end?

(Nice piece)

Good luck.
