2005 Ford F-250 4wd 5.4l v-8 instrument lights tail lights won't work? What is the most likely problem?

 

I am sure you probably have already checked this, but is the fuse good?
Most vehicles run the dash lights and tail lights on the same fuse so if your tail lights go out the driver will notice it.
If not, it could be the light switch.
