So I just got an 8" power brake booster/dual master cyl to add to my 61 f100 with a 4 wheel drums. I have no idea where to connect the other end of the vacuum hose. I have the inline 6 223 engine. Sorry if this is a stupid *** question but I'm getting very annoyed right now so please help!! Thanks
I'm doing the same thing to my '66 F100 too. My intake manifold had a capped off port (below the carb) that I put an adapter fitting so I could connect the booster.

I should add that I was just going to split my existing brake lines at the union on the frame, but nothing will unscrew from the block so now I am replacing all the lines as well. Lucky for me the PO replaced the wheel cylinders and flex lines.

You want full manifold vacuum going to the brake booster, as john jamieson said. Be sure to use real vacuum hose and not fuel or trans cooler hose.
thanks I I'll look below the carb later. I'll wait till I get some new lines before I go taking **** off. Might just take it to a pro and have it done. Brakes are the one thing I want done right ya know?
thanks Roger, I got a 11/32in hose but still have no idea where to attache it too.
Check your intake manifold and see if there isn't a port with a pipe plug in it. If so, remove the plug and install the appropriate pipe to hose fitting and you should be good to go.
If there is only one port and it is being used, say for an auto trans or vacuum wipers, you will need to install a "T" and create a port for the booster.
if you are still having difficulty, post a picture of the intake and carb on your truck. Someone here will be able to point out where to hook the vacuum line for the booster.
